These imitation microfiber PU rolls use synthetic fibers that reproduce the look and feel of genuine leather, giving shoe manufacturers a cost-effective option without changing appearance or performance targets. The surface is soft to the touch yet resists scuffs and scratches during regular daily wear. The material can be cut, sewn, and molded into different shoe styles, from casual sneakers to formal dress shoes, and is supplied in rolls for volume lining programs.

The surface receives a suede-like finish close to natural suede, soft and delicate to the touch. The fiber structure lets air pass through, which helps maintain a balanced temperature and humidity inside the shoe.
The PU surface layer offers water and oil resistance and is easy to clean; daily maintenance is limited to wiping with a damp cloth.
The material provides high tensile strength, tear strength, and abrasion resistance over 20,000 cycles, with high elasticity and elongation for repeated bending and folding. Its lower density compared with genuine leather reduces finished product weight.
Low-VOC, degradable, or water-based PU formulations are available to meet environmental standards such as REACH and ISO 14040. Antibacterial and antifungal functions can be added with treatment agents; color and surface texture adjust through embossing and dyeing.
Material cost runs 30% - 50% below natural leather, with a mature production process suited to large-scale manufacturing. The rolls can be cut, sewn, heat-pressed, and embossed directly, with low machinery demands that shorten the production cycle. Color, texture, and gloss are adjustable across low-end to high-end market ranges, and tensile, wear, and tear indicators sit above traditional PU leather in high-wear applications such as shoe uppers and sports balls.
Upper, sole, and insole applications across daily and sports shoe styles, with waterproof and lightweight properties.
Handbags, wallets, belts, and gloves benefit from color variety and consistent hand feel at a controlled cost.
Sofa covers, chair covers, and interior decoration fabrics use the material for lightweight, breathable, and wear-resistant performance in large-area production.
Ball outer layers take advantage of tensile strength and elasticity; coats and jackets gain soft, warm, breathable properties; steering wheel covers and protective cases for electronic products are additional standard use cases.
Solamni selects raw materials against internal standards and operates 6 production lines with 200+ staff. Random inspections run during production, and a dedicated QC team monitors each order, double-checking against the AQL level selected by the client before packaging. The facility is SGS-verified and follows ISO 9001:2015 protocols.
